Why Do I Travel

So this is going to be my first blog post. I am excited!

I wanted to start the first post of this blog with the basic question of “WHY Do I Travel”? As this is the main thing I am doing now, and I am very passionate about, it freaking excites me, and also many people really ask me WHY I travel and do what I do.

This includes a lot of close friends, this includes family members. Some honestly don’t understand why do I travel.

Well first of all, I want to go back around five years ago I’d say. The book that really inspired me to live the life which I am living now is “The 4-Hour Work Week” by Timothy Ferriss and there are many things you can get out of the book, and I keep getting out when I re-read it, but the main theme I took was having a different lifestyle, that you can live in any place in the world you want, that you can travel as much you want, that you can do cool shit, and it struck me really that in order to do everything I wanted to do, I did not need huge amounts of money, which we have an illusion we need to.

You don’t need to be a millionaire to chase your dreams and that you don’t need to be a millionaire definitely if you want to travel the world! I get to ask many people about their dreams, and I like to ask the following question: “If you had 100 million in your US bank, what would you do day-to-day”? Similar answers come up from tons of people, such as “I’m going to go to live on the island, I’m going to travel the world”. Doing a reality check in terms of numbers for your final goals, most of the time, will make you realize that you don’t have to earn a million to get to the island and travel the world and do all the things you want to do. It’s not that I’m against earning the million and big money, I am working every day to get there myself, but you can start with your dreams right away and not only later.

Coming back to the question “Why Do I Travel”? Well, because of the following reasons:

1) It is fucking awesome.

2) It excites me as hell. What excites you?

3) It is a way to experience MORE of life.

4) I love traveling. I love getting to new countries. I love people. I love meeting different cultures. I love trying new local foods. I love exploring new mountains, new places.

I’m choosing a really different travel kind of style from the regular traveler per say. I work and travel. I have multiple internet businesses, which is also a passion of mine and I choose to work and travel. I choose to finance my travels and grow while I travel.

This has been a dream of mine for a very, very long time to travel the world but to do it in the way that I’m doing it right now, which is really working and traveling if you can really call it that way. I’ve had many barriers and I’ve had many obstacles and I’ve had many failures and hopefully I can really share many of the failures, obstacles, and the things I learned and keep learning during my path, to help anyone who is going to read my blog, who may be just starting their path, or want something similar.

So THANK YOU for reading, I appreciate your time and see you on the next post
