How can you grow your online business and have an amazing lifestyle?

For me, amazing lifestyle is one that I have created for myself in last four years. That is traveling the World and being location independent entrepreneur.

I want to share with you few rituals I have when I travel as a nomad and get to a new place.

I have been a nomad for last four years and I have specific things I do almost every time I get to a new place. Those things really help me transition into places quickly and keep a balance between work, travel, and life.

Here are my 5 rituals when I get to a new place:

1) Setting up my workstation

I work only standing and as soon I arrive in a new location I set up my workstation. It is usually peaceful space without clutter. That way I am sure that I have a working place and it allows me to differentiate and actually jump into work much quicker as opposed to floating around the new place.

2) Finding local health-food stores and local farmers market

I prioritize my health. It is highly important to me to eat healthily and have good water. I prefer cooking my own food and I do not spend time searching for a restaurant. Once I find a health-food store or farmers market in my new location I will always stock up on food and water that will last me at least two or three days.

3) Unpacking my suitcase

This makes me feel like I am at home, especially if I stay long term. However, I will do it even if I am staying only ten days. I will put out my posters with my top goals, my mission statement and values. I will take out my vitamins and supplements and all things which are important to me and at the same time too easy to forget.

4) Getting local SIM card

I will do this ASAP. This will help me navigate around, use communication tools, Uber, etc.

5) Mapping out my activities

I always find activity or two that I can incorporate in a certain place. For example, right now I am in Mexico and I am incorporating Spanish classes to my routine. I could also include surfing lessons or really anything that I am interested in. Those things add up a huge level of happiness to my life.

Those are the 5 rituals that I have when I get to a new place. These rituals help me to settle down as soon as possible and focus on important things including work, taking care of myself and enjoying as well.

All the best,
Yuli
