I would like to talk about how your life results are actually based on your rituals. It may even sound weird for some of you, but all the results you’re getting, it doesn’t matter what for
– For your body, business, spirituality, and anything else, it’s all based on some rituals or habits you create.

It’s really that simple, if you want to simplify as much as possible.

If you want results, if you want to get something in your life, a great way to think about it is asking which rituals are going to get you to these results.

Start reverse engineering the actual habits that will get you to your end result.

It’s a great question to ask yourself. Think of a result that you want to have, and think of which rituals you have developed daily to get you these types of results. Then you can start digging down to actual daily habits of things you’ll need to do in order to get those results. That’s a great way to think about it.

I’ll give you an example. Let’s say you want to lose some weight. Lots of people want to lose weight nowadays. We have a problem. Lots of people are overweight. It’s not a one-day process. You don’t go to the gym and work out one time, and you’re fit for life and you’ve lost the weight. You need to develop specific rituals or habits that will get your there.

An example of those rituals may be drinking lots of water in the morning. If you don’t do it right now, do it for the rest of the day so you’ll be hydrated, you’ll have more energy, and things will flow. It can be a ritual of just eating more vegetables with your food on a regular basis, just having a salad for every meal, for example. It can be ritual or habit of eating natural things, instead of eating those unnatural things you’re used to. It can be a habit of just moving your body, maybe going for a walk or regularly going to the gym or working out. Those are rituals or habits that if you do on a regular basis will probably help you lose weight, as opposed to not doing them right now.

Healthy people have specific rituals or habits that keep them healthy.

If we’re talking about business, if you want to have a successful business, you probably need some rituals as well. It’s not a one-day process where you go to work one day, make a million dollars, and have a great business. It doesn’t work like that.

There are many different rituals. You don’t have to do all of them, obviously, but some of them you need to do, and they’ll get you to success. One of those may be, for example, planning your day and strategizing. It’s a ritual. I plan my day every morning, and I plan what I want to do. The most successful people do it as well. It may be one ritual that will get you faster to success in business. It may be a habit of optimizing some things inside the business. It may be a habit of tracking some things. Most kinds of habits will help you probably be successful in business.

There are many other habits. It may be also working every day for one hour on a business or on a project. If right now, for example, you have a 9-to-5 job, a habit may be spending every day one or two hours on this project, and that’s a ritual that will get you to earning money online.

I’ll quickly share with you how I actually started. I started six years ago. I’m from Israel, so I was in the Israeli army. We are obliged to do three years in the army, and my days were really hectic, really hectic. I was waking up 5:30 in the morning. My base was three hours from me. Just after eating my breakfast first thing in the morning, I would rid off to base. I usually got there around 9 a.m., and I was there all day. Then I went back home. Usually, I left around 6, sometimes even later. I got home around 9 or 10 p.m. Literally, that was my whole day. I spent six hours in buses, and I developed a ritual at that time, a very great ritual, which was every day working on my business.

I started my first business six years ago. It was an eBay business. This was the first thing I started doing online, and I developed a really crucial ritual: Every day, I’m going to work on it. Literally, I developed it in this schedule. Every day, when I get home, I would still work for one or two hours, and then sleeping for five hours, and then have another crazy day with the crazy schedule I mentioned.

This ritual allowed me to get results. Obviously, I didn’t see results in one day, but after six or seven months of doing it, all of a sudden, I started earning money online. And from there, I started progressing, and it became a habit. Every day, I would come back home and work on my business. This was a ritual I needed at that time in order to get the result of “I want to earn money online”

If you look at the most successful people in the world, they all have habits.

They all have certain rituals that make them successful, that make them happy, and that make them fulfilled. They all have it. It doesn’t matter what kind of person they are. There’s no way to get there without certain habits or rituals.

For one, they all have a morning routine. Look at all the successful people. They all have morning routines, something they do in the morning in order to empower themselves in the morning. They all have different morning routines, but all of them have something that they do.

Many successful people meditate. They have a meditation practice, more or less 20 minutes a day. It’s a habit they do, and this allows them to be more effective leaders and have a better decision-making process.

Leaders and successful people read. If you read or research about any successful person, you’ll rarely find someone who doesn’t read. Successful people and leaders read on a daily basis. That’s a habit. It may be half an hour of reading.

As you can see, successful people have habits or rituals. So what are your rituals? What are your habits right now? And what should your habits and rituals be so you can get the results that you want to get?

There’s a great quote by Jim Rohn that I want to share with you: “Motivation gets you started, but habits keep you going.” It’s so true. You can do anything for one day because you can be motivated for one day, but if you have the habit, something you do unconsciously and easily, that is how you produce the results.
